As our business continues its journey, we’re now seeking a motivated and mechanically minded
Hose Technician to join our Forrestdale workshop. Whether you're coming from a workshop, warehouse, manufacturing, trade or industrial background, this is an outstanding opportunity to build specialist skills within a supportive environment that values safety, quality, teamwork and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, measure, cut, crimp and test industrial hose assemblies to customer specifications.
- Receive, inspect and accurately store incoming stock and inventory.
- Pick components, materials and products for workshop jobs and customer orders.
- Pick, pack, label and prepare dispatch orders for shipment.
- Load and unload deliveries safely using manual handling equipment and forklifts.
- Maintain accurate records across inventory, job cards and dispatch systems.
- Follow safety procedures, wear PPE and actively contribute to a safe work environment.
- Maintain exceptional housekeeping standards across workshop, warehouse and dispatch areas.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and genuine interest in hands-on work.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 20kg and standing for extended periods.
- Current Forklift Licence or willingness to obtain one (company support available).
- Strong attention to detail with accurate measuring and counting skills.
- Basic computer literacy including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and inventory systems.
- Ability to follow procedures, work safely and learn new processes quickly.
- Reliable, punctual and committed to high-quality work standards.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to hydraulic hose, industrial hose, fittings or fluid transfer products.
- Previous workshop, warehouse, manufacturing, trade, agricultural or industrial experience.
- Experience with stock control, dispatch or logistics operations.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
- Experience working in safety-focused operational environments.

You'll develop technical skills in hose assembly, testing, hose and thread identification, troubleshooting and system design while contributing to safe, efficient and accurate operations.
