Our business seeks an enthusiastic and motivated Reservations / Office Administrator to join our friendly team. Your working hours may vary depending on events and by mutual consent. Full-time or permanent Part-Time opportunity is available. This position will commence immediately.
Chifley Tower is a premium skyscraper in Sydney, close to public transport. Our clientele is high-end business people and regular guests that require quality service.
The main duties of this role are as follows:
Coordination of bookings and events
- Reception duties; including emails, answering phones
- Maintain the customer database, the system and the manuals
- Responsible for functions, events and catering services.
Promotions and Marketing Assistant
- Work with the management team, designers, PR agent, Centre Management, media, advertisers, etc..
- Formatting, editing publications in both Japanese and English
- Maintain eDM, SNS, WEB contents, e-commerce contents and responding to comments and enquiries
- Assisting the management team with all other tasks as required
Other duties
- Contact technicians, Arrange regular maintenance and repair, purchasing goods, maintain and update office records
We're looking for someone who has:
- Understanding and willing to learn about a wide range of Japanese culture and history.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to every detail.
- Strong computer skills including advanced Microsoft Office. Preferred ResDiary, WordPress, Wix, and Stripe.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, multi-functional team environment required.
- Self-motivated team player with demonstrated interpersonal skills required.
- A minimum of 2-year full-time experience in hospitality or a similar role.
- Equivalent education in Business, Marketing or Hospitality
- Equivalent English qualifications or above IELTS 6.5, and professional Japanese language skills are required
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9.30 am – 4 pm, average 30 hours a week over a four-week period. Working hours may vary depending on events based on mutual consent.
