Selection Criteria:
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia in an appropriate registration category.
- Evidence of general registration and 24 months of clinical experience OR hold a Specialist International Medical Graduate determination issued by the RCPA.
- Demonstrated satisfactory acquisition of skills and competencies as specified in the Anatomical Pathology curriculum of the RCPA, appropriate to training level.
- Demonstrated progress in Anatomical Pathology training, including supervisor’s reports, success in exams or completion of research.
- Demonstrated participation in quality improvement initiatives relevant to Anatomical Pathology.
- Demonstrated experience in working in a multidisciplinary team environment, including improvement in patient care and an understanding of the NSW Health Code of Conduct.
- Demonstrated understanding of the NSW Health Code of Conduct.

This is a Category A position. All Category A applicants must read and understand Policy Directive PD2026_004 Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination against specified diseases. All new recruits must agree to comply with the requirements outlined in this policy. New recruits must provide evidence against specified diseases and comply with the requirements of this policy at their own cost prior to appointment.
