Casual Position: Work across our 3 Transfer Stations based in Mount Beauty, Porepunkah and Myrtleford.

Alpine Shire Council Enterprise Agreement 2023:
-
Wage starting at Band 3A: $51.29 per hour (including casual loading, industry allowance & “special engagement”) + Super.

Shifts will be assigned on a casual basis via roster. There is availability for up to 2 shifts per fortnight, with the possibility for additional shifts as required from time to time.

How you’ll make a difference
In the role, you will be based across our three Transfer Stations in:

Mount Beauty
-
Myrtleford
-
Porepunkah.
You will deliver excellent customer service to customers and provide information of best practice guidelines in waste management.
The successful candidate will be available to work on a 7-day roster including weekends and public holidays, across all three of our Transfer Station locations.
Training will be provided to ensure you work safely and effectively in the waste operations environment.
Our ideal candidate
Our ideal candidate is a team player who has the following qualifications/experience:

Drivers licence.

Experience using iPads, using emails and a basic understanding of IT.

Able to deliver excellent customer service in a helpful manner.

Communicate disposal procedures to customers to ensure customers unload materials in correct locations.

Experience in customer transactions, reconcile fees collected and perform banking duties.

Front loader, excavator or backhoe licence would be advantageous.

Flexibility in working hours (including weekend and public holiday shifts)
