We are now seeking a vibrant a Full Time Assistant Educator to enhance our Timber Tots team.

Children are encouraged to learn through play-based programs based on the Early Years Learning Framework taught by our team of experienced and qualified educators. Our quality Pre-Prep program is run by experienced childhood teachers and is designed to prepare and equip children for their school years and beyond.

Assistant Educator Qualification Requirements:
- Must hold or be working towards a Diploma
- Current Certificates in First Aid and CPR
- Blue card
- Child safety training
- food safety training
Core objectives include:
- To assist in providing a stimulating and challenging learning environment to assist all children to develop to their full potential.
- To create a warm, caring and enjoyable environment for all children and parents within the Centre.
- To assist the Educators in the planning in programming process within their respective rooms.
- To assist in creating a stimulating, innovative and adaptive learning environment which reflects the children’s interests and uses the appropriate resources available.
- To liaise professionally with relevant parents and staff.
- To recognize and be sensitive to, a child’s interest, individuality and differing activities depending on the needs of each child.
- To provide support to a curriculum which reflects equitable and inclusive practices.
- Comply with Timber Tots Child Care Programming Policy’s.
- Actively participate in the Child Care Accreditation process.
- Uphold and promote the Policies of Timber Tots Child Care.
