The Role
In this full-time role you will be responsible for:

Driving delivery vehicle (truck/van) to allocated destination stores according to a schedule as provided

Ensuring goods delivered are received in an acceptable condition
-
Operating a tailgate lift on the truck where required
-
Using pallet jacks to remove pallets of stock from the truck/van and deliver into stores

Maintaining general appearance and cleanliness of vehicle (inside and outside)

Completing necessary paperwork relating to deliveries

Accepting return goods to deliver to Warehouse

Reporting any maintenance issues to Warehouse Manager

Completing any other duties that may reasonably be required from time to time including general warehouse duties as required
About You
To be considered for this role, you will have previous experience as a delivery driver. Other important skills and attributes required are:

High attention to detail

Great time management skills
-
Good communication skills, with the ability to liaise with our stores and suppliers

A current driver’s license (manual)
-
A current medium rigid truck license
-
Drive and commitment to achieve goals
