Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) are looking for Assembly Operators to join the MQ-28 Ghost Bat Production Facility currently being built at Wellcamp Toowoomba, QLD.

We expect these roles to commence October 2026.
What you'll get to do:
- Perform precision assembly, fit-up, riveting, bonding and fastening of airframe structures and sub-assemblies.
- Work alongside advanced automation equipment, including robots and NC machines.
- Install and route wiring harnesses, avionics modules and mechanical systems per work instructions.
- Carry out first article builds, build sub assemblies and conform to configuration control processes.
- Use jigs, fixtures and tooling safely and accurately; support tooling and continuous improvement.
- Conduct factory acceptance checks, functional tests and assist with production test activities.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality and traceability in a regulated defence environment.
- Collaborate with engineers and the Quality team to resolve issues and improve manufacturing processes.
Who we're looking for:
- Prior experience in aerospace, production or precision manufacturing industries highly desirable.
- Experienced in use of hand tools, power tools and common assembly equipment; experience with composites or riveting (solid/hi-loc) advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity and pride in doing high-quality work.
- Ability to read and follow technical work instructions, drawings and safety procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills; ability to work on shift rosters as required.
