Gulson Canberra is owned by Autosports Group (ASG) which is a large, listed retail automotive group representing the world's greatest prestige and luxury automotive brands. Autosports Group employs over 3,000 people across 100 dealerships located in Australia and New Zealand. This particular dealership is now seeking an experienced car washer / yard hand.
In this role you will:

Wash and detail vehicles inside and out

Refuel vehicles as required
- Support general daily tasks around the dealership

Maintain a safe and organised work environment

Inspect vehicles for defects and reporting any issues to the supervisor.

Maintain and organise detailing equipment and supplies.

Ensure all chemicals are stored and managed responsible.

Perform other tasks/duties requested/assigned by supervisors, department managers or directors from time to time.

Fit number plates to new and used vehicles.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

A current driver's licence

A basic knowledge of motor vehicles and maintenance procedures

A basic knowledge of techniques of paint and fabric preparation and maintenance
-
A high attention to detail

Time management skills
-
Confidence to report concerns or questions to managers as appropriate

Ability to multi skill and prioritise duties
-
Experience in a similar position in automotive industry (desirable)

Understanding of the typical business structures of the retail automotive industry an advantage

An honest and professional nature

Eager to learn and develop new skills
