About this Position:
The Work Health & Safety Administration Officer plays a key role in supporting Council's commitment to a safe, healthy and positive workplace. This position is responsible for the administration, monitoring and reporting of Council's WHS systems, while contributing to the continuous improvement of safety processes and practices across the organisation.
This is a part-time role of 28 hours per week, with flexibility to work these hours across either 4 or 5 days to suit individual needs and preferences.

What we trust you to deliver:
- Provide reliable administrative support to the Work Health & Safety team.
- Help maintain and improve Council’s safety systems and processes.
- Build positive relationships and communicate effectively with staff and stakeholders.
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently while delivering professional and responsive service.
What you will need to be successful:
- Demonstrated high level systems and administration experience.
- Experience maintaining electronic databases and records management systems.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices, with the ability to maintain confidentiality, support compliance requirements and contribute to safe work outcomes.
- The ability to adapt, manage competing priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment.
