Rock ‘N’ Soil supplies to a vast number of clients across many industry sectors throughout SE Queensland. An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Delivery Driver to join our Rock ‘N’ Soil team, based in Chandler.
Our openings are for a casual driver to cover shifts from Mon-Sun.
As a member of the Operational team, you will be loading and delivering orders to customers to meet delivery deadlines and providing high levels of customer service.

Additional training is also available on loaders, trucks, crane trucks and other machinery – we love to upskill our staff and would love to help you achieve your career goals.
If you are licenced for forklifts, loaders or other machinery, please let us know as this will increase your hourly rate.

Qualifications & experience
– Demonstrated experience in adhering to safe work practices in a similar environment – essential.
– HR license – essential.
– Forklift license – preferred.
– Tipper experience – experience desirable.
– Front End Loader – experience desirable.
– Experience with loading/unloading and packaging landscaping materials – preferred.
Tasks & responsibilities
– Deliver landscape materials in a safe, timely and professional manner.
– Provide customers with next-level customer service.
– Maintain consistent and regular contact with the office sales team to keep them informed of issues relevant to deliveries.
– Perform daily vehicle pre-start checks and general equipment maintenance.
– Coordinate safe loading of supplies onto truck as per daily client delivery schedule.
– Complete necessary delivery paperwork including run sheets and work diaries.
– Assist with packing orders when required to ensure on-time delivery.
