We are seeking an experienced and motivated SITE Supervisor (Cleaning) to join our NSW Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who is passionate about leading teams, maintaining high cleaning standards and delivering exceptional customer service.
Working closely with the Customer Service Manager and Head Office, you will be responsible for supervising a portfolio of client sites, ensuring operational excellence and supporting our cleaning teams to consistently deliver outstanding results.
About the Role
As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations across multiple client sites, ensuring cleaning services are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with client expectations.
You will lead and support cleaning teams, conduct regular quality inspections, manage staff rosters and attendance, liaise directly with clients, and resolve operational issues as they arise. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership, excellent organisational skills and the ability to build positive relationships with both clients and employees.
You will also play a key role in maintaining compliance with workplace health and safety standards, company policies and quality management systems while contributing to the ongoing success and growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Team Leadership
- Supervise the daily operations across a portfolio of cleaning sites.
- Lead, motivate and support cleaning teams to achieve high performance.
- Manage staff rosters, leave requests and shift coverage.
- Cover cleaning shifts where required to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and site representatives.
- Monitor labour costs and work within operational budgets.
- Provide regular operational updates to the Customer Service Manager.
Quality Assurance & Client Service
- Conduct routine site inspections and quality audits.
- Ensure all cleaning services meet company and client quality standards.
- Respond promptly to client requests, concerns and service issues.
- Identify operational improvements and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor client satisfaction and proactively resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate operational records and inspection reports.
Workforce Management
- Ensure accurate submission of staff timesheets and payroll information.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding and induction of new employees.
- Provide ongoing coaching, training and performance support to staff.
- Ensure subcontractors comply with company policies and procedures.
Safety & Compliance
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment across all sites.
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
- Conduct workplace inspections, hazard identification and risk assessments.
- Investigate and report incidents, accidents and near misses.
- Ensure equipment is maintained in a safe operating condition.
- Participate in workplace audits and implement corrective actions where required.
Skills & Qualifications-Essential
- Previous experience in a Cleaning Supervisor, Site Supervisor or similar leadership role.
- Experience managing multiple/one big cleaning site(s) and teams.
- Strong understanding of commercial cleaning operations and quality standards.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong leadership and people management abilities.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Sound organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and mobile technology.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence with the ability to travel between client sites.
Desirable
- Experience within commercial cleaning, facilities management or property services.
- Knowledge of modern cleaning equipment, chemicals and safe work practices.
- Certificate III or IV in Leadership, Cleaning Operations or a related discipline (desirable).
- First Aid Certificate (desirable).

Pay: $24.95 – $42.43 per hour
