Environmental Oils is an Australian company that provides free used cooking oil collection and recycling services for the food service and hospitality industries. Collecting waste oil and processing it into renewable products like biodiesel and animal feed supplements.
We are looking for a responsible, productive, and reliable person to join our team on a casual basis, with the ability to go full time after completing the probationary period.
Duties:
- Receive and inspect incoming used cooking oil (UCO).
- Monitor processing equipment and ensure smooth operation.
- Conduct quality checks on oil and final products.
- Maintain and clean processing equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure proper disposal of waste.
- Clean vehicles and drums.
- General housekeeping.
Requirements:
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.
- Understanding of safety procedures, equipment use, and processing of oil (training provided).
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or processing environment is a plus, but not required.
- Forklift license - REQUIRED.
- HR license - appreciated but not required.
Pay: $41.00 – $42.00 per hour
