The Opportunity
As our highly valued Cardiac Physiologist, you’ll use your skills and expertise to provide quality care to patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.
Key Responsibilities
You'll deliver high-quality cardiac testing, focusing on pacing to support earlier diagnoses and better patient outcomes. Based in Adelaide, you'll handle ECG procedures, stress tests, and pacing workflows.
Make a meaningful impact by:
- Performing non-invasive tests: 12-lead ECGs, Holter/BP monitoring, exercise stress tests
- Conducting pacemaker clinics: interrogations, programming, troubleshooting single/dual-chamber devices, and basic CRT checks
- Analysing results precisely and providing compassionate patient care
- Staying ahead with pacing advancements and software (e.g., device programmers)
About You
You are a clinically accomplished and people-focused healthcare professional who enjoys leading others and making a positive impact. You combine strong clinical expertise with excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to delivering patient-centred care.
You are collaborative, adaptable and motivated to continuously improve both your own practice and the performance of your team.
What you’ll bring
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A passion for delivering exceptional patient care and a commitment to improving Australia’s heart health.
- Experience in Health track electronic medical records preferred, but not essential.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team.
- Excellent patient care skills with a demonstrated ability to show a friendly, sensitive and professional approach when dealing with patients of varying backgrounds and age.
- Completion of a Primary Degree in Health Science or related field or a degree or Diploma in Applied Science is desirable but not essential.
- A current driver’s licence and access to reliable transport is essential. Part of this role requires you to travel between our metropolitan clinics but also to our regional clinics.
