About the Role
Commercial Finance Business Partner is responsible supporting the financial management and success of the ANZ Commercial and Consumer P&C businesses, ensuring compliance with the company’s policies and procedures, and providing strategic business partnership to the ANZ leadership team.
In this role, you will:
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or accounting (or equivalent experience)
- 6+ years’ experience in finance related fields, within the insurance industry
- Significant background in financial planning, financial analytics, forecasting, accounting, reporting, and controls
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, underwriting process, and relevant industry trends
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in financial management software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant tools
- Strong financial management and analytic skills – ideally with experienced financial experience across Commercial and Consumer lines
- Managing stakeholders across multiple products, segments, and branches at varying executive levels. Comfortable working in a matrix environment
- Experienced business partnering and influencing skills – ability to find a balance between business and financial stakeholders
- Strong communication skills - crisp executive level narrative and insightful commentary on all deliverables
