About the role
This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people. As our Customer Service Officer in Rockhampton, you'll be the first voice clients and visitors hear — and the experience you create sets the tone for everything that follows.
You'll bring warmth and professionalism to every interaction, whether you're welcoming someone at reception, responding to an enquiry, or making sure a client feels heard and helped. The behind-the-scenes administration that keeps the office running smoothly will also sit with you — but it's the relationships you build that will define the role.

What you'll bring

- Clear, confident communication — whether face-to-face, over the phone, or in writing
- The ability to stay calm, organised, and positive when things get busy
- A proactive approach — you spot what needs doing and get it done without being asked
What you'll be doing
- Be the friendly face of our office, welcoming visitors and helping with enquiries across phone, email, and in person
- Keep things running smoothly by managing inboxes, mail, office supplies, and day-to-day admin tasks
- Support meetings and events, helping create a warm and inclusive experience for everyone involved
- Assist with basic finance tasks and help spot opportunities to improve our customer service and office processes
