About the Role
Step into a leadership role where you’ll help shape a positive, high performing clinical team. As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you’ll support day to day ward operations, build capability, maintain high standards of care and partner with the Nurse Unit Manager to deliver safe, person centred services.
- Support daily ward operations and clinical leadership
- Lead, coach and develop nursing staff
- Build a collaborative and supportive team culture
- Maintain safe, high quality, person centred care
- Drive practice change and continuous improvement
- Coordinate staffing, rosters and work allocation
- Support recruitment, leave and performance processes
- Monitor resources, supplies and budget use
- Foster strong partnerships across multidisciplinary teams
- Promote consistent, seamless care and positive patient outcomes
About You
You’re a confident and collaborative Registered Nurse who leads by example, supports others to succeed and is committed to safe, high quality patient care.
- Registered or eligible with NMBA, current practising certificate
- Clinical nursing experience with leadership capability
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Able to prioritise, solve problems and guide others
- Knowledge of quality standards and contemporary practice
