As we continue to scale our operations, we are strengthening our internal systems and processes to support a more digitized, compliant and efficient workflow across our field and office teams.
The Role
We are currently seeking an IT and Operations Support Officer to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical and systems support to our office and site staff, ensuring the smooth functioning of our internal applications, devices, and digital workflow tools.
- Provide first-level ICT support to office and site-based staff by phone, email and remote-support tools, responding to enquiries and resolving hardware, software, application and connectivity issues.
- Set up and administer user accounts, access rights and system permissions across Microsoft 365, cloud-based business platforms, the company’s custom-built applications and the local NAS environment.
- Install, configure, test and troubleshoot company laptops, desktop computers, mobile devices, printers, shared drives and other ICT equipment.
- Support the onboarding and offboarding of employees, including device configuration, account activation and deactivation, password updates, access allocation and mobile device enrolment.
- Provide first-level support for the company’s custom-built project and docket portal, including user access, project records, docket processing, application synchronisation and related operational issues.
- Diagnose and resolve issues involving Microsoft 365, Zoho, Monday.com, Houzz Pro and other cloud-based business applications used by office and site teams.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, VPN, remote desktop, email synchronisation, printer and shared-drive access issues, and escalate complex infrastructure matters when required.
- Perform routine monitoring of NAS access, backup status, system synchronisation and connectivity, and refer firmware, security and major server maintenance matters to the relevant internal developers or external ICT service providers.
- Assist with the deployment of system updates, software upgrades, patches, device-management policies and approved security improvements.
- Review quarantined emails, assist users with suspected phishing and spam issues, and escalate potential security incidents in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of ICT assets, software licences, user access, support requests, identified issues and resolutions.
- Prepare user guides and support materials and provide practical training to staff on the effective and secure use of company systems and applications.
- Liaise with internal developers, system administrators and external ICT service providers regarding application defects, system integrations, escalated technical issues and service resolution.
- Recommend practical improvements to ICT support processes, user workflows and system documentation to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
