- Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand and all material and construction requirements
- Determine all materials needed for each job
- Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
- Cut and shape building materials according to measurements
- Measure, cut and assemble wooden and metal forms for pouring concrete
- Inspect completed formwork to ensure conformance to specifications
- Enable the stability of structures through the installation of shoring
- Disassemble formwork after use in a way that allows for its reuse.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
Pay: From $96,182.00 per year
Application Question(s):
- • At least 2 years previous experience as a formwork carpenter in off site precast fabrication
- Certificate III in Carpentry
- Must have a Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Carpentry work experience in building and construction is desirable.
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- Must be able to work as part of a team as well as independently
- Truck license, civil experience with machinery tickets will be an advantage
