What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver person-centred support that promotes choice, independence, dignity, and inclusion
- Assist with personal care, mobility support, meal preparation, medication assistance, and household tasks as required
- Support clients to attend appointments, access community activities, and work towards their individual goals
- Implement care plans, behaviour support strategies, and positive behaviour support approaches where applicable
- Build positive and professional relationships with clients, families, and support networks
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes to support high-quality service delivery
- Contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for clients and colleagues
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting individuals with complex behaviours and implementing positive behaviour support strategies
- Demonstrates empathy, resilience, professionalism, and strong interpersonal skills
- Can maintain professional boundaries while building positive, trusting relationships
- Has strong communication, documentation, and basic computer skills
- Holds a valid P2 or Open Driver Licence and has access to a reliable, insured vehicle (travel across Greater Brisbane required)
- Has full working rights in Australia
- Is willing to obtain a Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Is willing to obtain First Aid and CPR certification
- Is open to completing required NDIS training and ongoing learning opportunities
