About the Role
We're seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in framing and general carpentry, a great work ethic, and an eye for detail. You'll be working on a variety of projects around Melbourne, contributing to a dynamic and supportive crew.
What we are looking for:
- Designing and constructing designs from drawings to identify the required materials, dimensions, and installation methods.
- The ability to select and order the material required to execute clients’ jobs in accordance with the plan layout.
- Cutting, shaping and assembling components.
- Constructing frameworks, panel systems, roof structures, installing sub-flooring and floorboards while ensuring accuracy.
- Installing panels, roof sheathing, external wall cladding, doors and window frames.
- Assembling prefabricated wooden components for installation.
- Forming and cutting timber joints.
- Constructing concrete formwork where required.
- Repairing and maintaining existing structures and fittings.
- Working with a range of materials, including laminates, Perspex and metals
- Adhere to all safety requirements while on the job site, including wearing the appropriate protective gear at all times when required.
- Knowledge of carpentry tools, equipment, and materials.
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
Qualifications and Skills required:
- Certificate III or IV in Carpentry is preferable but not required.
- At least 3 years of on the job experience is required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Valid driver’s licence to travel to various work sites when required.
- Physical fitness and stamina for lifting, climbing, and standing for long periods.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
