The Opportunity:
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Fitter (Afternoon Shift) to join SPC in Auburn NSW.
The role of the Maintenance Fitter is to maintain food processing plant, equipment and services in a safe, reliable and efficient condition to support the site to achieve its planned production targets. This is a hands-on role where prioritisation and completion of tasks are critical to every area within our factory.
The scope of the role includes, but is not limited to:

Conduct planned preventative and condition-based maintenance to a high standard on food processing plant and equipment.

Attend to plant breakdowns, fault find and repair equipment in a safe and diligent manner.

Active involvement in root cause analysis, asset condition reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to maximise equipment reliability and throughput.

Follow all protocols and processes for removing / replacing parts or tools from the store.

Complete detailed Job Safety Analysis documentation, high risk work permits and follow intrusive maintenance procedures as required.

Maintain equipment safety systems and participate in regular safety and quality walks.
The successful candidate will have:

Trade qualifications are essential
-
Experience working in a manufacturing environment with automated production equipment.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
-
Experienced in analysing equipment condition and identifying maintenance requirements.
-
Sound knowledge of OHSE & Quality systems.
-
Ability to work in a team environment.
-
Competence in Microsoft Office software, Safety reporting systems, Contractor Management, and CMMS Systems
-
EWP, Confined Space and Forklift License's are highly desirable
