Additional Information:
- This role is Temporary (6 months), 76hrs/fortnight
- The Hiring Manager for this role is Kellie Campbell - Visual Merchandising/ Activity Manager
- You must have the availability to work 7:00am - 3:00pm Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend and public holiday shifts as required by business needs.

Team vision (text) As Visual Merchandising/Activity Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Contributing to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market.
- Providing home furnishing solutions for a single product or a combination of products to improve people’s life at home.
- Demonstrating the uniqueness of the IKEA product range through your visual merchandising competence and techniques in different displays in store to distance us from the competition.
- Engaging others through the ability to visualise and present a commercial idea.
- Working with new and unique display concepts to motivate people to visit the IKEA store more frequently.
- Constantly on the move in the store to successfully implement your tasks and duties.

Let´s connect As Visual Merchandising/Activity Co-worker you are:
- Passionate the work of implementing your designs from a sketch into reality, as you are a practical and hands on individual, with proven ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Curious and driven to understand home furnishing and people’s everyday life at home, grasping the fundamentals of visual merchandising principles.
- A creative thinker, with commercial visual competence and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Able to demonstrate excellent communication skills.
- Experienced with programs such as REVIT, preferred but not essential. Having a Design qualification, previous Visual Merchandising experience and experience in Adobe Creative Cloud & Microsoft Office is preferred.
