Reporting to the Area Manager, this is a hands on role, responsible for delivering preventative and reactive maintenance services, managing contractors and ensuring the site remains compliant, safe and well-presented. You will play a vital role in supporting residents, staff and visitors by maintaining our buildings, grounds, plant and equipment to the highest standard.
This is a 12 month maximum term position working Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:06pm.
What you will be responsible for
- Performing preventative and reactive maintenance across buildings, grounds, plant and equipment
- Coordinating contractors, site inductions, permits and contractor performance
- Ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, WHS legislation and BaptistCare policies
- Maintaining asset information, maintenance schedules and reporting through maintenance systems
- Supporting minor capital projects, refurbishments and improvement initiatives
- Working closely with site leaders to minimise disruption to residents and staff
- Driving sustainability and environmental initiatives across the site
- Supporting emergency preparedness, waste management and site safety programs
Glendale Lodge

About You
You are a maintenance and property professional who enjoy solving problems, improving environments and achieving excellent outcomes.
To be successful, you will bring:
- Experience managing preventative and reactive maintenance programs
- Strong hands-on maintenance experience across facilities, property or building environments
- Experience managing contractor relationships and service delivery
- Experience working with operational budgets and planned maintenance programs
- Strong systems capability, including Microsoft 365 and maintenance management systems
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A high level of attention to detail and compliance focus
- A trade qualification in a relevant field is highly regarded
- A current driver's licence.
