Go Bins Gold Coast are seeking a motivated person to join our team as a Casual Yardsperson / Yard Worker. This position is for an immediate start as we expand into our new yard facility.
Job summary:
- Shifts are worked between 8am and 4pm Monday to Friday
- Experience operating bobcat and excavator is preferred, however training will be provided for the right candidate
- Expected salary: $35 per hour

Role Description
Go Bins Gold Coast has experienced growth and we are looking for a motivated Yardsperson to join our team. This role includes operating an excavator and bobcat, sorting and processing waste materials, maintaining a clean and safe yard environment, and assisting with the day-to-day operations of our waste management facility. This is an ongoing casual position.
Qualifications, skills and experience required
We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Yardsperson for an immediate start with the following qualities:
- Excavator and Bobcat operating experience preferred
- Relevant machinery tickets or licences for excavator and bobcat
- Experience working within the waste management, construction, landscaping, recycling or related industries desired but not essential - training will be provided
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety at all times
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- A high level of physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks is essential
- Willingness to assist with sorting waste materials and general yard duties
- Ability to maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
- Availability to work shifts Monday to Friday between 8am and 4pm
- Must have own transport to and from our yard, located in Norwell
