Receptionist / Administration Assistant – Podiatry Care Gawler

Podiatry Care Gawler is looking for an enthusiastic Receptionist / Administration Assistant to join our friendly and busy team for a few days per week at our Gawler practice.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy environment and can help us provide a welcoming and professional experience for every patient who walks through our doors.
About the Role
As one of the first points of contact for our patients, you’ll play an important role in keeping the practice running smoothly.
Your duties will include:
- Greeting patients warmly in person and over the phone
- Managing appointments, bookings and general enquiries
- General reception and administrative duties
- Processing payments using HICAPS and EFTPOS
- Assisting practitioners and other team members with day-to-day administrative tasks
- Keeping the reception area organised and running smoothly
- Problem-solving and handling patient enquiries with patience and professionalism
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable and confident communicating with people of all ages
- Reliable, organised and able to multitask in a busy environment
- Patient, understanding and empathetic
- Proactive and enthusiastic with a “how can I help?” attitude
- Confident using computers and programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Able to work independently while also being a great team player
- Experienced in reception, administration or customer service
Experience using Smartsoft PracSuite or working within a medical or allied health practice would be highly regarded but is not essential – we’re happy to train the right person.

Pay: $32.00 per hour
