What you'll be doing
- Assisting the Head Chef in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen
- Preparing and cooking a variety of high-quality dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Ensuring consistent food presentation and adherence to recipe standards
- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment
- Participating in menu development and contributing to the creative culinary vision
- Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a CDP or Sous in a reputable restaurant or hotel
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation and kitchen operations
- Time management and multitasking skills
- A passion for using high-quality, fresh ingredients to create innovative and delicious dishes
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Communication and teamwork skills
