Job Description
Ramsay Clinic Albert Road is seeking compassionate and motivated Enrolled Nurses to support across all the units and programs at Ramsay Clinic Albert Road. In this role you will provide high quality, person centred and trauma informed care. This involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support the delivery of safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care across a range of programs. The role requires flexibility to work across a 24/7 roster and contribute to a positive and therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will work collaboratively with the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team Leaders and fellow nursing staff to deliver exceptional clinical care that reflects Ramsay Health Care's philosophy of "People Caring for People."
Skills and Experience
Essential
-
Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse

Successful completion of Enrolled Nurse Medication Administration education.

Minimum 12 months experience working within a mental health setting.

Demonstrated experience in a mental health setting, including inpatient, community, or acute care services.

Sound knowledge of mental state assessment, risk assessment, and recovery-oriented practice.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build therapeutic relationships with patients and carers.

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
-
Strong time management, organisational, and clinical prioritisation skills.
-
Commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
-
Ability to respond appropriately to clinical deterioration, mental health crises, and behavioural disturbances.

Competence in medication administration and clinical documentation.
-
Flexibility to work across a 24/7 roster, including weekends, nights, and public holidays.

A sound understanding of the Enrolled Nurse scope of practice and the ability to practise in accordance with professional standards and registration requirements.
