About the role
In this role you will provide expert project management to Melbourne Health and the Asset Services Group to deliver sustainability initiatives.
You will oversee projects from concept and procurement through to delivery and completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and in line with organisational requirements.
Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, consultants and contractors, you will manage project planning, financial oversight, contract administration and reporting, while identifying opportunities to improve sustainability outcomes across our facilities. This is an opportunity to contribute to projects that create lasting environmental benefits and support a more sustainable healthcare service.
Key Accountabilities

Asset Management and legislative activities completed on time and within schedule

Direct project management including procurement, project delivery, dedicated financial management, record keeping and disposal

Monitor and manage various sustainability projects within budget and project maintenance activities

Ensure allocated projects are delivered within procurement guidelines, on budget and delivered within agreed timelines
About You
-
An appropriate tertiary qualification in building, project management, engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience

Excellent stakeholder management skills, including demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence decisions at senior management level

Strong results orientation with a determination to stay the course, achieving organisational, team or individual goals

Collaborative with the ability to develop, maintain and strengthen partnerships with others inside or outside the organisation who can provide information, assistance, and support.

Ability to articulate and document project concepts, including technical specifications to support procurement activities
