About RMH MHS and the Community Team
As part of commitment to providing equity in health care, RMH MHS is establishing the LGBTIQA+ Mental Health Senior Clinician role. This role supports the service to embed diversity, equity and inclusion through an intersectional lens and drive best practice in LGBTIQA+ mental health treatment, care and support alongside consumers, carers and communities.
Your new role

Provide direct clinical interventions and secondary consultations to support consumers, carers and family as they move through the service

Participate in review and enhancement of procedures and policies, improve linkages and relationships across the service and with other stakeholders.

Work with enthusiastic multidiscipline professionals including existing LGBTIQA+ roles at RMH

Demonstrate and extend your leadership skills to drive best practice and positive culture across RMH MHS

Actively engage in supervision, support activities, discipline specific meetings and professional development
About you

Motivated to champion LGBTIQA+ inclusive and affirming practice across all RMH MHS teams

Possess formal qualifications and registration as an Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, Social Worker or Registered Psychiatric Nurse.

Be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Show leadership skills including initiative, advanced communication skills and the capacity and willingness to further develop these
