Self Raised Bakery in Carlton is on the look out for passionate pastry chefs to join our growing team.
We already have an amazing tight knit team led by a very passionate and experienced pastry chef but still need a few more passionate chefs to join the team.
There will be plenty of room to grow within the business as we have an ambitious future ahead of us with a second venue now open!
About the Business
Name: Self Raised- Bread Shoppe. A 70s-80s inspired continental Bakery and pastry shop focused on high level bread, pastry, Pies & Sandwiches. (Yes there is coffee too!)

Trading Hours: Tues - Sat 7am- 2.30pm. Sun: 8am - 2pm (Mon Closed)
The Role:
- Baking and production of high quality Pastries & Cakes.
- Oversee the daily operations within the pastry section.
- Working closely with the Head Pastry Chef and the team to produce consistent high quality products
- Technical knowledge and experience in using the specific equipment for a bakery
- Creative Freedom (we love new ideas) and are absolutely passionate about everything we do.
- Daily stock management, stock rotation and temperature management.
Ideal Candidate:
- 1 or more years experience as pastry chef.
- Good team player!
- Strong work ethic and a positive "can do" attitude.
- Passionate & Love for baking and food.
- Demonstrated experience in high volume, fast-paced bakery environment.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
