The Head of Spend, Balances and Loyalty- Unsecured Lending is a senior leadership role that is responsible for the strategic oversight and optimisation of the Consumer Cards and Personal Loans portfolio. This role is pivotal in driving product usage, reducing attrition and setting the foundation for long-term customer profitability across credit cards and personal lending products. The role will be instrumental in shaping the unsecured lending business by leveraging analytics, driving growth, managing rewards and partnerships and managing risks to maximise both financial and customer outcomes.

Role Location: Melbourne or Brisbane What will your day look like?
Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the performance of the unsecured lending portfolio
Monitor and respond to market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to ensure portfolio relevance and competitiveness.
Develop and implement portfolio management strategies to maximise profitability, growth, and customer satisfaction
Use data and insights to continuously improve targeting, conversion, and ROI
Strategic and operational management of key unsecured lending partners across cards schemes, airlines, rewards platforms, insurance, etc
Oversee program control documentation (e.g., issues, risks, delegations and decisions registers) and knowledge management
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Proven experience in customer lifecycle management, product marketing or engagement roles within consumer finance or related industries
Strong understanding of credit cards, personal loans and other financial services products
Expertise in digital marketing, data analytics, and customer segmentation
Proven track record in designing and executing unsecured lending portfolio management strategies
Strong analytical skills and experience with customer data platforms and campaign tools
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
