Saint Ignatius’ College Riverview was established in 1880 as a Catholic boys’ school in the Jesuit tradition. Located in Lane Cove, Sydney, Cammeraigal Country, this leading independent school delivers a holistic education to both day and boarding students from Years 5 to 12.

The College is seeking engaging and student-focused Touch Football Coaches to support and develop students participating in the College's Touch Football program. This casual coaching opportunity is ideal for passionate coaches who are committed to developing players' technical skills, game awareness, fitness, teamwork and sportsmanship, while preparing teams for inter-school competitions.
Reporting to the Program Coordinator – Touch Football, the Touch Football Coach will foster a positive, inclusive and safe environment that enables students to develop their skills, confidence, character, teamwork and enjoyment of the game.
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will:

Proven experience coaching touch football at a school, club, state or equivalent level.
- Strong technical and tactical touch football coaching knowledge.
- Hold a current Touch Football Australia Foundation Coach Accreditation (or higher), or be willing to obtain this qualification.

Demonstrated ability to create a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment for young athletes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and staff.
- A commitment to promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, resilience and student wellbeing through sport.

The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Availability to attend weekday training sessions, weekend fixtures and key tournament commitments.

Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the Mission and Values of the College.

Hold a current Working with Children Check and be committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare and wellbeing of children and young people.

Hold current First Aid and CPR certification.

Hold a valid NSW driver’s licence.
