About the Role
Are you passionate about making language learning an exciting, joyful journey for young children? We are seeking a warm, energetic, and engaging Mandarin Educator to join our team on a casual basis.
Because our students mostly come from English-speaking homes, our approach focuses on functional, real-world communication through movement, activities, story and interactive play to build genuine confidence in a second language.
What You Will Do
- For Age 0–5: Facilitate high-energy, play-based immersion sessions using songs, tactile props and activities that encourage natural speech and oral confidence.
- For Age 6–12: Guide students through interactive functional literacy, pinyin, sentence architecture, and character recognition using a step-by-step approach.
- Bridge the Gap: Use fluent English when necessary to explain concepts, give clear instructions, and ensure children whose first language is English feel supported and confident.
