The opportunity
We’re looking for a Marketing Manager – High Value Customer Growth to join Zembl on a 14 month maternity leave contract. This is a broad, commercially focused B2B marketing role with plenty to get stuck into.
Working closely with our Sales, Customer, Product and Partnerships teams, you’ll lead marketing activity designed to help us win, engage and grow high-value business customers.
You’ll work across account-based marketing, customer lifecycle and retention, sales enablement and strategic partnerships; connecting the dots between great marketing and commercial outcomes. You’ll be hands-on: building campaigns, getting into the data, working with our marketing technology, creating briefs and assets, testing ideas and helping Sales turn opportunities into customers.
What you’ll be doing
This is a broad, hands-on marketing role where you’ll work across the customer journey; helping us win high-value accounts, support our Sales teams and create more opportunities to grow our existing customers.
You’ll:
- Own and deliver targeted marketing and ABM activity for high-value prospects, working closely with our Sales and BDR teams.
- Build multi-touch campaigns across channels including LinkedIn, Google and Facebook, tailored to priority accounts and opportunities.
- Partner with Sales on the messaging, content and tools they need to engage prospects and progress conversations.
- Help our Sales teams activate content through their own channels, including LinkedIn.
- Develop lifecycle campaigns and automated journeys that support customer retention, cross-sell and growth.
- Work with Product, Customer and Sales to take new products and services to our existing customer base.
- Support our Partnerships team with the campaigns, content and assets needed to successfully launch and grow new partnerships.
- Use campaign and customer data to understand what’s working, spot opportunities and continually improve performance.
- Bring ideas, challenge the way we do things and work across the business to turn good thinking into activity.
- It’s strategic enough to shape the direction, but hands-on enough that you’ll be close to the work and able to see the impact you’re making.
Who we are looking for
You’re an experienced marketer, comfortable working in a business where there are plenty of stakeholders, competing priorities and moving pieces. You know how to bring people with you, but you’re also confident challenging a brief, asking what’s missing and pushing back when there’s a better way.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Strong B2B marketing experience, with experience in SaaS, financial services, professional services or another complex B2B environment highly regarded.
- Experience working within a matrix organisation and influencing stakeholders across Sales, Product, Customer and leadership teams.
- A strong grounding across campaign strategy and execution — you know how to take an objective from idea through to delivery and measurement.
- Hands-on experience with marketing and advertising technology such as LinkedIn Ads, HubSpot, Customer.io, CDPs or similar platforms.
- An analytical mindset. You’re curious about what the numbers are telling you, notice when something doesn’t look right and dig into why.
Experience with account-based marketing is a plus, but it isn’t essential. If you understand good B2B marketing, complex customer journeys and how to turn commercial objectives into targeted campaigns, we can teach you the rest.
And you don’t need energy industry experience. We know energy; you bring the marketing expertise.
Why Zembl?
We want workdays to be worth it.
At Zembl, you’ll join a business that moves quickly, backs good ideas and gives people the freedom to make an impact. And while this is a maternity leave contract, you won’t simply be keeping the seat warm. There’s a lot happening at Zembl and plenty of opportunity to bring your ideas, challenge how we do things and help shape what comes next.
We also know there’s more to a great place to work than the work itself. As a Zemblr, you’ll enjoy:
- A hybrid working environment with the opportunity to work abroad for up to 4 weeks of the year.
- Additional leave including wellness days, volunteer days and Christmas shutdown leave
- Monthly Uber Eats allowance, daily coffee/juice from the lobby café.
- Plenty of opportunity for internal rewards, bonuses and recognition.
Sound like your kind of role? We’d love to hear from you
