About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Insurance Coordinator to manage and support the effective administration of a corporate insurance portfolio and the management of insurance claims.
Reporting to the General Manager – Risk, Governance and Transformation, you will coordinate annual insurance renewals, support coverage assessments and assist with insurance requirements for new assets, acquisitions and changing business activities. You will also act as the central point of contact for insurance-related enquiries across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities

Insurance Management: Coordinate annual insurance renewals, support coverage assessments and assist with insurance arrangements for new assets, acquisitions and changing business activities.

Claims Management: Manage and support insurance claims from notification through to resolution, including gathering evidence, interpreting policy conditions and liaising with insurers, brokers and assessors.

Stakeholder Support: Act as the key contact for insurance and claims-related enquiries, providing practical guidance and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Reporting & Risk: Prepare claims activity and trend reports, maintain risk registers and identify opportunities to reduce claim frequency, quantum and severity.

Process Improvement: Develop and maintain practical insurance and claims procedures, provide stakeholder education and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
You will be an organised, collaborative and commercially minded insurance professional with strong claims management experience and the ability to build effective relationships across a diverse organisation.
You will bring:

Proven experience in insurance, claims management and risk mitigation, with the ability to manage claims and interpret policy conditions.

Strong administrative, organisational and data management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Excellent stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution skills, with a practical and professional approach to managing enquiries and issues.

A collaborative, customer-focused approach and the ability to work effectively with diverse corporate and operational stakeholders.

A commitment to delivering high-quality service while identifying opportunities to improve processes, strengthen risk management and achieve better claims outcomes.
