Part-Time Male Support Worker – Watanobbi Area
We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Part-Time Male Support Worker to provide care and support for an older gentleman located in the Watanobbi area.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is patient, respectful, and committed to supporting independence and quality of life.
About the Role:
You will be providing one-on-one support, including:
- Personal care assistance
- Medication administration
- Transport to social activities and medical appointments
- Supporting daily living tasks and overall wellbeing
- Providing companionship and general support as required
Key Requirements:
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (preferred)
- Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current Police Check
- NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
- Ability to tolerate and be comfortable around household pets (dog and/or cat)
About You:
- Empathetic and respectful approach to care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible
- Experience in aged care or disability support is highly regarded
