What’s the role?
As Chief Product Owner for Investigating & Offboarding, you'll be accountable for the customer, risk and strategic outcomes of capabilities supporting financial crime investigations, suspicious matter reporting and customer offboarding. You'll work closely with Financial Crime Operations, Risk and Technology teams to improve investigation effectiveness, strengthen compliance outcomes and create more efficient ways of working.
In this role you’ll translate Delivery Unit strategy into a clear 6–12 month product direction and roadmap as well as own the backlog, priorities and outcome delivery for investigation, suspicious matter reporting and offboarding capabilities. Further, you will improve investigation effectiveness, workflow efficiency and operational scalability while embedding risk, conduct and control requirements into product and delivery decisions.
Leading a multi-squad Release Train, you'll set priorities, guide investment decisions and ensure teams focus on delivering the outcomes that matter most for customers, operational partners and the Group's risk obligations.
This is a full-time opportunity based in Sydney.
What do I need?
- Experience leading product, change or transformation initiatives within financial crime, risk or operational environments
- Strong product management and prioritisation skills
- Experience translating strategic objectives into clear roadmaps and delivery outcomes
- Knowledge of investigations, customer lifecycle management and financial crime processes
- Strong executive stakeholder management and collaboration skills, as well as experience partnering with Financial Crime Surveillance, Technology and Risk stakeholders to deliver outcomes
- Experience working in agile and product-led delivery environments
- Ability to balance operational, customer and regulatory requirements
- Strong communication, planning and decision-making capability
