We are now looking for an Interior Designer – Premium Experience to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role supports the creative development, documentation and onsite delivery of premium hospitality experiences for the Australian Open and Summer Series events.
Collaborating closely with the premium experience team, the role contributes to the design and production of temporary hospitality and event environments across AO Reserve restaurants, lounges, bars, partner activations and corporate hospitality spaces.

Support the design and delivery of premium hospitality and event environments across the Australian Open and Summer of Tennis portfolio

Contribute to the creative development of restaurants, lounges, bars, partner activations, corporate hospitality spaces and premium guest experiences across the AO precinct

Develop engaging design concepts and visual assets, including mood boards, presentations, floorplans, spatial plans and 2D/3D renders

Collaborate with internal teams, partners, suppliers and contractors to bring world-class premium experiences to life from concept through to onsite delivery

Provide onsite support during event build, operations and pack-down, ensuring spaces are delivered to a high standard while adapting and problem-solving in a fast-paced live event environment

Research emerging hospitality and experiential design trends and contribute innovative ideas that help evolve AO Reserve and enhance the premium customer experience
To be successful in this role you will:

Proven experience delivering interior, hospitality, experiential or event design projects from concept through to onsite implementation

Advanced Revit skills, with strong capability in design documentation, spatial planning and 3D visualisation

Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Monday.com, Smartsheet and Miro experience would be considered a bonus

Experience working on temporary event environments, hospitality spaces or experiential activations in fast-paced project settings

Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing requirements and deliver high-quality outcomes under pressure

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability and a passion for premium hospitality and customer experience environments

Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check

Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
