As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Production Kitchen Supervisor to join our Kitchen Leadership Team.
This isn't just another kitchen supervisor role.
It's an opportunity to become the operational leader of our production floor—guiding our talented Chef de Partie team, driving daily production, solving problems in real time and creating an environment where people and products consistently perform at their best.

About the Role
Reporting to our Kitchen Sous Chef, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day execution of our production operation.
You'll be the leadership presence on the kitchen floor—keeping production moving, supporting your team, coordinating workflow across multiple sections and ensuring our products are produced safely, consistently and on schedule.
You'll be empowered to make decisions, resolve challenges as they arise and play a key role in maintaining the rhythm and performance of one of Australia's busiest pastry production kitchens.

What you'll be responsible for:
As our Production Kitchen Supervisor, you'll:

Lead, coach and support a team of Chef de Parties and production staff throughout each shift.

Coordinate production activities to ensure daily plans are delivered efficiently.

Monitor workflow across kitchen sections and proactively remove obstacles.

Be the first point of contact for operational issues, troubleshooting challenges and supporting your team to find solutions.

Work closely with the Kitchen Sous Chef to ensure labour, production priorities and resources are aligned.

Build strong communication across production, operations and leadership teams.

Oversee morning dispatch readiness, ensuring products are prepared accurately and on time.

Champion food safety, quality standards and workplace safety.

Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity and team performance.
What we're seeking from You
You're an experienced kitchen leader who enjoys developing people just as much as producing exceptional food.
You know how to create calm in busy environments, communicate clearly under pressure and keep teams focused on achieving great outcomes.
You'll bring:

Leadership experience within a commercial production kitchen, bakery, pastry kitchen or food manufacturing environment.

A genuine passion for coaching and supporting others.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
