Teacher (Sport Development Program)
King’s Trade Training Centre (KTTC) is a senior secondary trade and vocational education hub for students pursuing hands-on training alongside their senior studies. We are expanding our Sport Development Program and are seeking an energetic, industry-engaged teacher to join our team.
This role would ideally suit a PE teacher who is passionate about health, fitness and sport and looking to step into a dynamic role that bridges education with industry practice.
It requires someone who can be fully immersed in the sport and fitness industries, mentoring and training students who are looking to pursue careers in sport performance, coaching, training or fitness-based pathways.
This is a Full Time Permanent position commencing Term 1, 2027 and based at our Reedy Creek campus.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach, lead and develop the Sport Development Program in line with industry expectations and student needs

Support students undertaking vocational qualifications and industry-relevant training

Foster strong connections with sport and fitness organisations, coaches and professionals

Deliver practical training sessions and develop students’ athletic and performance skills

Work closely with KTTC staff to ensure students are on track with academic and industry requirements
The successful applicants will demonstrate:

QCT registration with qualifications in Health and Physical Education or related fields

A strong background or interest in the sport, coaching or fitness industry
-
Experience or a desire to work with students in Years 10–12 in a vocational education setting

Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse learning and career goals
-
Excellent organisational, communication and relationship-building skills
-
A passion for shaping confident, capable young people pursuing sport-related careers

King’s LOGAN VILLAGE CAMPUS (in south-west Logan) currently has over 1000 students on-site, offering places for students from Early Learning through to High School.
