Roper Gulf Regional Council is seeking a hands-on and reliable Municipal Supervisor to help keep our community's parks, reserves and public spaces safe, clean and well presented. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in remote communities while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.
As the Municipal Supervisor, you will supervise, mentor and organise the municipal team at a community level while working alongside them on the ground. Your day-to-day will cover parks and gardens maintenance — mowing, playgrounds, sports grounds, planting, weed and pest control and reticulation repairs — along with household waste collection, litter and hazardous waste disposal, and maintenance of the waste management facility. You will operate and maintain Council plant and vehicles, supervise daily vehicle inspections and paperwork, and make sure your team completes hazard and incident reports and submits time and attendance records on time. You'll report daily to the Council Services Coordinator.
This is a permanent, Full-time position based in Numbulwar, NT.
