Auscanz Migration & Education Agents is seeking a motivated and professional Registered Migration Agent to join our expanding practice on a contract basis.
This opportunity is suitable for a newly registered migration agent, recent graduate of a Migration Law and Practice program, or an experienced RMA seeking flexible contract work with exposure to a broad range of Australian visa and migration matters.
Comprehensive training, guidance, case support, and matter briefs will be provided where required.
About the Role
As a contract Registered Migration Agent with Auscanz, you will assist with Australian migration matters, including visa applications, submissions, document preparation, client communication, migration research, and case progression.
You will work with our team and receive matter instructions and guidance to ensure high-quality client service and compliance with professional obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide migration assistance in accordance with Australian migration legislation, policy, and professional obligations.
- Prepare visa applications, submissions, forms, and supporting documentation.
- Review client documents and identify eligibility, evidentiary, and compliance issues.
- Liaise professionally with clients, government departments, and external stakeholders.
- Conduct migration research, policy review, and legislative analysis.
- Maintain accurate client records, file notes, and case management files.
- Assist with complex migration matters under guidance where required.
- Support the team with client follow-ups, matter preparation, and case progression.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current registration as a Registered Migration Agent.
- Sound understanding of Australian migration legislation, regulations, and policy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Professional, ethical, and client-focused approach.
- Ability to manage tasks, deadlines, and allocated matters.
- Willingness to learn and work collaboratively with the team.
Highly Regarded
- Recent completion of a Graduate Diploma or Migration Law and Practice program.
- Interest in skilled migration, employer-sponsored visas, family visas, partner visas, student visas, visitor visas, review matters, and complex migration cases.
- Additional language skills.
- Experience using migration software or case management systems, although this is not essential.
