Senior Dental Assistant
Locations: Fairfield and Liverpool
Job Type: Casual / Part-Time
Salary: $40.00 – $46.00 per hour (based on experience)
Royal Dental Care is currently seeking experienced and motivated Dental Assistant for Fairfield and Liverpool clinics. We are looking for team member who is passionate about patient care and thrive in a fast-paced, supportive, and professional environment.
This role offers exposure to a wide range of dental procedures and excellent opportunities for long-term growth within the organisation.
The position will involve approximately 80% clinical assisting and 20% reception/front desk duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Chair-side assisting across a variety of procedures including:
- General dentistry
- Orthodontics
- Implant dentistry
- Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms
- Ensuring high standards of infection control and sterilisation protocols
- Assisting with patient management and clinical workflow
- Supporting reception and administrative duties when required
- Delivering exceptional customer service and patient care
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in dental assisting
- Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilisation procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
- Full Australian work rights
Desirable Skills
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting
- Experience using Core Practice software
- Orthodontic or implant experience highly regarded
