The Opportunity
We are seeking a Garment Technician Coordinator to join our Product Operations team. Working closely with our Design Administration and Sampling teams, as well as our international factories, you’ll play an important role in ensuring the fit, construction and quality of our garments throughout the product lifecycle.
This is a full-time (on site), permanent position based at our Osborne Park office.
Responsibilities:
What You’ll Do

Develop technical packages including specifications, fit comments, pattern correction sketches, grading rules and fabric and trim requirements.

Conduct technical inspections of sample garments and communicate clear and detailed instructions to manufacturers and other stakeholders.

Analyse style instructions and sampling comments to provide technical assessments of garment construction and fabrications.
- Regular travel to offshore factories to review samples of new collections.

Provide technical knowledge and support during the garment lifecycle to ensure garment quality and consumer satisfaction.

Monitor and maintain fit, construction, and workmanship standards and ensure consistency across all factories.

Conduct Quality Control inspections of bulk garments and collate, analyse and report results to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
What You’ll Bring

Experience working in a Garment Technician, Quality Assurance or Product Development role within the garment, apparel or textile industry.

Tertiary qualifications in fashion, design, patternmaking or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Knowledge of garment construction, sewing, pattern making and grading with the ability to create and amend garment specifications.

An understanding of garment sampling and production processes, with CAD pattern making highly regarded.

Analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.

Competency in Adobe Creative Suite and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
