We’re now seeking a Part Time Diploma-qualified Educator — or someone who’s currently working toward their qualification — to join our passionate team and make a real difference in children’s lives.
Where you’ll work
Set in a rural and close-knit community, Birchip Kindergarten uses this closeness to its fullest potential through meaningful community connection and a strong focus on child-led learning in as many contexts and settings as possible. The team are seeking educators who are passionate about supporting children to reach their goals and exploring all their possibilities.
Role Details:
Diploma Educator
Tuesday – 8:30am to 4:00pm, Wednesday – 8:30am to 1:30pm, Thursday – 8:30am to 4:00pm
19 contact hours + 4.75 non-contact hours = 23.75 hours per week

What You’ll Do
In this hands-on, rewarding role, you’ll:
- Support the delivery of engaging, play-based learning programs
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and your teaching team
- Create safe, inclusive, and nurturing environments that inspire curiosity
- Collaborate with educators and teachers to deliver high-quality early learning experiences

What You’ll Bring
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or actively studying toward it)
- A strong enthusiasm for working with children and a commitment to ongoing learning
- Current Working With Children's Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Great teamwork, communication, and organisational skills
