Working in a small Silicon IP design house within a team of 12 engineers. Design of full custom high speed digital circuits and mixed-signal circuits involving both digital and analogue circuitry.
Team mix of experienced lead engineers, industry veterans and junior engineers. Primarily circuit types like PLL’s, ring oscillators, LC tank oscillators, digitally controlled regulators and LDO’s., high speed (multi-GHz) digital circuits. Candidate should have a technical background degree in electronics/electronic engineering/computer sciences (or similar) plus 3-5 years of industry experience in IC design (preferred) or similar industries: embedded/FPGA design, electronic systems design etc.
Candidate should be familiar with industry standard toolsets and workflows: Cadence, Synopsys or Siemens Mentor IC design. Candidate should demonstrate understanding of industry standard methodologies and work practices and be able to explain and follow a clear work structure for design tasks. Familiarity with VerilogA(MS) or Verilog HDL/VHDL is useful. Familiarity with programming languages like C/C++/C#, Python also helpful.
Good team-working skills required with team management experience as a team leader/design leader a bonus. Role will expand into team leadership and engineering leadership roles including mentorship of intern engineers and junior staff members.
