We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Civil Drafter to join our Brisbane team and contribute to a diverse portfolio of civil and infrastructure projects.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Civil Drafter, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality civil drafting and design documentation across a range of engineering projects. This is a senior, non-supervisory role where your expertise will guide best practice, support team capability, and ensure accurate, compliant design outputs.
Key Responsibilities

Produce high-quality civil drawings and documentation across concept and detailed design phases (plans, profiles, sections, and details)

Interpret engineering designs, sketches and specifications to develop accurate drawings and 3D models

Undertake civil modelling and drafting using industry-standard software

Coordinate drawings and models with multidisciplinary teams (structures, services, geotechnical, survey)

Support clash detection, model integration, and design coordination

Liaise with engineers, project managers, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy and compliance

Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior drafters

Ensure all outputs align with Australian Standards, TMR requirements, and KBR procedures

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance drafting quality and efficiency
About You
You’re a detail-oriented drafting professional with a passion for delivering high-quality work and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams. You bring strong technical expertise along with the initiative to improve processes and outcomes.
You will have:

~7+ years’ experience in civil drafting, ideally within consulting or engineering environments

Strong proficiency in MicroStation, 12D and/or AutoCAD
-
Proven experience producing drawings aligned with TMR and Australian Standards

Ability to work independently on complex drafting tasks with minimal supervision

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

A Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering (preferred but not essential)
