Due to unprecedented growth, we are expanding and are looking for Auto Electrical Installation Technicians to join our team.
ABOUT US
We specialise in the installation of auto electrical equipment into all types of vehicles including cars, trucks, buses, and machinery. We mainly install telematic accessories for a range of clients from small businesses to large multinational companies and government. We highly value a supportive and rewarding work environment for our staff and contractors.
THE ROLE
You would be working on a variety of auto electrical installations:
- Installation of electrical accessories - there is no fault finding or diagnosis involved
- Reporting to the head technician
- Recording details about the job
- Providing exceptional service to our customers
DITCH THE WORKSHOP
Sick of being stuck in a workshop? This is a mobile position so you'll be travelling around all of Cairns and you'll be paid for kms travelled. You could be at an industrial area one day or the beach the next. If you love travelling, you'll be able to occasionally work interstate if desired (optional).
NO SALES OR LEAD CHASING
This is a subcontractor position. We do all the lead-chasing, appointment bookings and quoting, so all you need to do is show up. There is a continuous pipeline of work and you'll be paid weekly.
WORK LIFE BALANCE
This job gives you time to spend with the family, supplement another job or your hobbies. Blank your availability and choose days and hours to work around other life commitments.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will have some installation experience as an auto electrician or vehicle accessories fitter, be customer focused and autonomous. If you can work well without someone having to watch over your work, this job is perfect for you. Full training is provided.

*Australian citizen or full working visa
*Automotive trade licence or equivalent
*Drivers licence
*ABN, tools and car
*Can do attitude
