Your new role:
As an Occupational Therapist within the Transitional Housing Team, you will provide high-quality, recovery-oriented care to adults experiencing mental health and homelessness challenges. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will support consumers through assessment, intervention, rehabilitation and discharge planning to achieve positive health and wellbeing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver evidence-based Occupational Therapy assessment, intervention and rehabilitation services.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary mental health team to support recovery-focused care.
Manage a clinical caseload, maintain accurate documentation and contribute to discharge planning.
Participate in service improvement, quality activities, student supervision and professional development.
About you:
You are a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist who values teamwork, person-centred care and continuous improvement. You thrive in multidisciplinary environments and are committed to supporting consumers on their recovery journey.
Demonstrated ability to deliver evidence-based Occupational Therapy services within mental health settings.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and contribute to positive consumer outcomes.
Commitment to professional growth, clinical supervision, quality improvement and recovery-oriented practice.
