Uniq Stone Pty Ltd specialises in the supply, fabrication and installation of premium natural and engineered stone products for residential and commercial projects. Due to continued business growth and increasing demand, we are expanding our manufacturing capacity with a new warehouse at our Holden Hill premises.
As we continue to invest in our operations and technology, we are seeking an experienced and motivated ICT Business Analyst to play a key role in improving our business systems, streamlining operational processes, and driving digital innovation to support the company's continued growth.
The Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, the ICT Business Analyst will work closely with management and key stakeholders to analyse business requirements, identify opportunities for process improvement, and recommend technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency, productivity and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with management and key stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into ICT solutions.
- Analyse existing business processes, workflows and information systems to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Gather, document and validate business and functional requirements.
- Prepare business process maps, system specifications and technical documentation.
- Evaluate current software applications and recommend enhancements or new technology solutions.
- Liaise with software developers and external service providers during system development and implementation.
- Coordinate system testing, user acceptance testing and implementation of new applications.
- Develop reports and data analysis to support informed business decision-making.
- Provide user training and ongoing support to staff ensure effective adoption of new systems.
- Monitor system performance and recommend continuous improvements to maximise operational efficiency.
Essential Criteria
- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Business Information Systems or a related discipline.
- At least two years of relevant experience as an ICT Business Analyst or in a closely related role.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in business process analysis and requirements gathering.
- Experience working with ERP, CRM or other enterprise business systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Desirable Skills
- Experience within the manufacturing, construction or stone industry.
- Knowledge of business intelligence and reporting tools.
- Understanding of systems integration, databases and data management.
- Experience working within project management frameworks.
